Been pretty darn busy....
Well I realize that it has been a very VERY long time since I have posted. But what can I say...my cowgirl world has been crazy these past few months! Well, let see...Jim and I have been looking for a new place to move into. The place we are at now is incredible...but we can't help it...we have toys!!! Living in a town home might be nice for some..but having a ATV, dirt-bike, snowmobile, boat, camper, fishin' gear, campin' gear, bikes, and horse back riding gear, it just doesn't work! So we are not looking to buy anything right now, we just need a bigger place to rent. WITH LAND!!!!!!!! I can not wait to have a place with some acreage!

Changes
Well this blogging is very hard to keep up with! But I am going to try! So these past days I have been on the busy side. On Monday we had a company party! It was a freaking blast, as they always are. It was sorta like a pot luck, with the food. Some people brought some appetizers, sides, main dishes, or desserts. They were all judged which one was the best. I had to bring an app and I made 10 Layer Taco Dip!! OOOO yummy!! It didn't win, but it was still good. That is the picture of my dip! In the 10 Layers, was re fried beans, taco meat, diced tomato's, green chillies, sour cream, salsa, avocado, lettuce, cheese, and black olives!
During the party I got to ride too!! I have a very cute picture of my husband and I riding the Yoder's horses!! Here it is:
He is getting so good!! He started riding when I owned my 1st horse, Sophia. She simply LOVED Jim. Probably because she new he would not put up a fight like I would and make her do something she did not want to! But he has come a long way! We are actually looking now at getting one of our own! We will see how that hunt goes!
As the week went on, I had my days off, where I got a lot of house stuff done. It was snowing most of those days, and cold out so I was not up for doing much outside. Ya, its in the middle of May and it is snowing....fun fun. I also did a lot of vegging and watching movies, as I love to do!
So it is now Saturday, and on Friday, Jim and I started working out every morning. We started with Abs and today we did cardio, just did a little jog around the complex. It was good, but I am not into exercising so about 3/4 of the way I got a little winded. But I took a few walking steps and pushed myself to finish the jog. It was very rewarding. I just want to be in shape and not feel like a lazy poo. So far, I am feeling good, and sleeping AWESOME at night! haha
Last night we went to our friends, Adrienne and Zippy's house warming party. And it was a BLAST. Just talking and hanging out with wonderful people! I even ate a tequila worm!! EWWWWWW But it actually was not that bad. Swallowed it whole.
So tonight, after work I plan on cooking some yummy chicken and shrimp Alfredo! I will let you know how it turns out!
PS. Check out my awesome new belt buckle!! It is what Robert Redford wore in the movie the Horse Whisperer. The 4 flowers stand for the 4 stages of training. The snaffle bit, bosal, double rain, and the spade bit. Then the center horse is the finished bridle horse. Stunning!! Thank you Kemo Sabe and Bohlin!!!!!

Hello! My name is Lindsay. I was bored one day and thought that I would start a blog. I have a lot to say about my everyday life, ideas, opinions, etc! So lets start...
I am now 27 years old, living with the LOVE of my life, my husband, Jim. We have 2 wonderful doggies, Sydney, a silver toy poodle, and Ratchet, a black lab mutt. We love them like we would if we had children.
My husband and I have been together now for 11 years. Married for 2 years this September 20th. He is my true other half! We do so much together yet we are opposite in a lot of ways. I believe this is why we are so in love. He is the Ying to my Yang...he he!
Okie, enough gooshyness! That's a picture of us at our Wedding! We are now living in the BEAUTIFUL state of Colorado. Everywhere I go, I find some breathtaking view here...I am so happy. Even though we love it so much here, we do miss home dearly. Our family and friends are so far away, and we just can't get home nearly enough to make the miss easier. Yet another reason I started a blog! I want everyone to know what goes on and not miss a thing.
I have somehow fallin' into the best job! I work for a store in Aspen, called Kemo Sabe. I new I had to apply the moment I saw that it was called Kemo Sabe. A lot of you that know me, know why. For those of you who might not, it's because Kemo Sabe, was the name of my best friend/sister horse's grandfather. The most eye catching Arabian horse! Now they spelled the horses name a little different, but you get the idea. It was a sign that I HAD to apply. And thank God I did....it is all that I love, and come to appreciate and respect for what it is, and stands for. I sell the most spectacular western hats, boots and buckles! Ya some of you might not think that is that amazing, but to know the history, the craftsmanship, the art behind all of the products, it would BLOW you away. Kemo Sabe, is what Tonto called the Lone Ranger, meaning Faithful Friend, or Trusted Scout. I will blog a lot more about work, I am sure in the future.
On to my husband. He is the reason I am in this beautiful state. He runs the West Star Aviation hanger at the Aspen Airport. I am so proud of him. He never thought he would get where he is, and he did it and is by far making West Star Aspen, quite successful. And as most of you know Jim, he loves to help you out...especially if it involves something with an engine! He is always there to help with anything! I think that's one of the best qualities I love about him!
This is a picture of him in our truck we bought when we lived in Texas. It was a 2 wheel drive truck, and living in the Mountains, it was time we either got a truck with 4 wheel drive, or some how make this a 4 wheel drive truck. And he did it!! Saved us about a couple THOUSAND dollars!! I am so proud of him!! He is testing the 4x4 in this picture. GO BABE!
Well I hope that's a good enough 1st post....I enjoy talking about my adventures and loves.
